Environmental, Social and Governance
The management and staff at Experia take their responsibilities seriously.
Environmental Policy
We have undertaken many initiatives so far and will aim to continuously improve our performance.
Experia has committed to a long-term target of achieving net zero by 2050. In practice, this equates to a 90% absolute reduction in Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2050 from our 2023 baseline. The remaining 10% of emissions will be balanced by emissions removals to achieve net zero. To ensure we make tangible, science-based and continuous progress towards our long-term target, we have also adopted a near-term target in line with the recommendations of the Science-based Targets Initiative: 42% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 by 2030 from our 2023 base.
We are increasingly environmentally conscious as we see evidence of climate change related disasters across news media. We are concerned about the legacy for children and future generations. We work with vulnerable people and those with additional needs. Often we see evidence of climate anxiety and sadly we believe that this is going to deteriorate.

Modern Slavery
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern day slavery or human trafficking in our in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy Statement reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our business.
Experia recognises that slavery and human trafficking remains a hidden blight on our global society. The aim of the Company is to identify our responsibility by alerting staff to the risks, however small, in our business and in the wider supply chain. Staff are expected and encouraged to report concerns to management, where they are expected to act upon them.
