Cleaning Sensory Mirrors

By Gareth Jones

Another favourite question we are asked is “How do I clean the mirrors in my sensory room?” The quick answer is CAREFULLY! Acrylic mirrors, whilst extremely safe as they are very difficult to break, are also hard to clean. They scratch easily so caution is advised when cleaning. Use a soft, clean cloth and a little elbow grease to start with. If you do need to use a detergent, try Windolene or similar. Try a small amount on part of the mirror which is not seen first.
