Experia previously, announced that a winner had been selected for the Room Director V2.2.5 Collaborate and Share competition. Samuel Pepys School located in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, bagged the iPad Mini!
Gareth Jones of Experia proudly presented the prize to Joanne Hardwick, Head Teacher of Samuel Pepys last week! Joanne stated:
"We were delighted to hear the news of winning the Experia competition and that Gareth would personally present us with the iPad Mini."
Gareth proceeded to congratulate Joanne for her team's efforts:
"A well deserved win for a brilliant school. It's great seeing our schools getting creative with the new Room Director software. The iPad mini will provide an extra resource aiding interaction with Samuel Pepys' existing set-up using the free IRiS app. I'm looking forward to seeing lots of imaginative scenarios being shared when the Schools start back in September!"
Joanne went on to explain that the iPad will be used as a controller:
"We’ve already downloaded the Experia IRIS App to enable the iPad to be used to control our interactive LED bubble tube, jet stream, fibre optics and musical touch wall”
Samuel Pepys actually created and shared two scenarios within our Room Director platform. Joanne explained that:
"The first scenario was an introduction to the M.I.L.E room for our pupils, it showcased the equipment, sound and lighting. Since then, Russell has got even more adventurous and built a scenario based around his adrenaline rush hobbies. Our pupils can choose between adventurous sports including flying and sky diving, all accompanied by amazing lights, sound and jet stream effects."
