Sensory Rooms

Sensory rooms are specially designed environments that provide a sensory experience to people, young and old, with a wide variety of different abilities. Traditionally, a sensory room was used for relaxation and de-escalation, when people with autism, emotional and behavioural difficultiessensory processing disorder, or other special needs would find themselves overwhelmed and in need of a safe and distracting place to return to a state of calm.

Although a sensory room is often still used for relaxation, with the help of advanced technology, multi-sensory room design means so much more can now be achieved in terms of sensory development.

Check out our range of sensory rooms below, to see the wide variety of life skills that our multi-sensory room design can help your users to develop.
