Self Harm

Self harm is when a person purposely damages or injures their body. In many cases, this is a way of dealing with or expressing their emotional distress. Often those who self harm have a wish or intention to die, and a large number of suicides are preceded by self harm. The intention is often to punish themselves, express distress or relieve unbearable tension, often there is a combination of both. Self harm can also be a cry for help for many.

Experia tailor makes sensory equipment and bespoke sensory rooms to suit any need and budget, always with the user at the heart of the design, ensuring features are included that will benefit them the most.

We also offer free 3D room design, for those who may require extra help during the initial creation and design process.
