Sensory Bedrooms
People with Autism, Dementia, ADHD, and similar other abilities can often find it hard to relax and switch their mind-chatter off before bedtime. Sensory bedrooms can be invaluable in helping those users feel relaxed and get to sleep at night.
The soothing lights and sounds of a sensory bedroom provide the perfect calming environment to help distract users from their heightened emotions or overwhelming thoughts. Sensory bedroom equipment (including sensory beds) can help soothe users into a state that promotes rest. It can also help them to de-stress before an anxiety-inducing procedure.
